This textile is made from 100% organic cotton grown in Mali. It is from an Artisan co operaitve who bring the traditional designs alive using modern creative designs. The colours are enhanced depending how many times the cloth is immersed in the dye vat. The black is from seasoned 'potash' and the ochre colurs are from bark.
